THANK YOU !
FOR YOUR INTEREST IN MODERN FLOOR LAMPS
Ignacia Guest House in Mexico City’s Colonia Roma neighborhood is all about making you feel at house in a place that looks like home. Completed in 2017, this dazzling house made us fall in love with its lighting designs that provide a very mid-century modern vibe and welcoming atmosphere.
This project might be recent, but the truth is that this guest house has already won the Best Interiors of Latin America and the Caribbean competition. This house that features five suites is the result of a collaboration between architecture firm Factor Eficiencia and Andrés Gutiérrez’s interior design firm A-G.
This dazzling property, with the original floor plan of the 1913 historical mansion, has preserved its essence as a refuge for people sharing a connecting bond.
Another design detail that has really caught our eye was the stunningly simple corridor with mainly glass walls that connect the old structure to the 200 m2 addendum where the other four suites are found.
The suites themselves are a feat of elegantly updated modernism. Our favorite? The one that is decorated with a pale pink pattern and carefully selected artisan pieces.
Serge Mouille mid-century modern lighting designs can be found through the house, providing a more refined and personalized atmosphere to the house.
All in all, Ignacia manages to be a luxury home away from home. A place that does not deprive itself or its guests of the luxuries that one might expect.
