THANK YOU !
FOR YOUR INTEREST IN MODERN FLOOR LAMPS
For the past years, energy efficiency has become a widespread concept, and everyone is trying their best to achieve that whether it’s in their home, their office, and even their cars!
So, by now you’re probably tired of making the same energy saving mistakes in your home…That’s why we’re going to share all our energy saving secrets with you. And also because we love you!
Today’s tips will help you stop making those mistakes you knowingly keep doing over and over again, but probably don’t know how to avoid. Let’s save some energy!
SWITCH TO LED TODAY
The first one’s a given. Everyone knows that LED lighting solutions are, by far, the most economic and efficient in the market. Are they still a little bit pricey? Yes. But they can also last your for years, unlike all the incandescent light bulbs you probably keep on using and buying for every single lamp in your home.
LED lights are truly the best investment you can make for your house energy efficiency-wise. They will make your electricity bill drop, and they maximize all the energy they produce (95% of the energy produced by an LED light is put to use).
USE DIMMERS
If you don’t want to commit and change every single light bulb in your home, you can start by installing dimmers, to maximize the efficiency of your incandescent lightbulbs of CFLs.
Dimmers can reduce the voltage supplied to the lamp, which results in a light output decrease of the light bulb. Want more advantages? You will immediately see a reduction in consumption and save a lot of money. Another pro is that it increases lamp life so, automatically, you reduce maintenance costs.
MAKE THE BEST OUT OF DAYLIGHT
Okay… So, this is not always easy. You might not have a lot of windows in your home, or with Winter coming, we get lesser and lesser daylight. However, that is not always an excuse for not taking advantage of this great gift the universe gave us.

During the summer season, make the best out of daylight and keep your drapes open until late in the evening. That way you will not only save energy, but you will also make your house less prone to have humidity related problems. It’s always a win! If you have a little patio, make sure to use table and wall lamps that are fueled by solar panels. At night they’ll be fueled and ready to light your best soirées!
