FOR YOUR INTEREST IN MODERN FLOOR LAMPS
Modern floor lamps bridge that gap between a table lamp and a pendant. They work especially well in a lounge environment, highlighting one particular room setting: perhaps a reading nook, a chair or sofa. Ideally, a floor lamp needs an adjustable shade and/or arm, so preventing unwanted glare. Moreover, a floor lamp should complement a space, working in harmony with its surroundings.
So, today in our weekly signature we’re showing you a mid-century modern floor lamp filled with sophistication and elegance that will definitely make your reading time happier and brighter!
From inspiration drawn on the great pianist Duke Ellington, the floor lamp Duke was born to make our homes better. But what is Duke exactly? Duke is an elegant floor fixture with a short silhouette and a single swing.
Each lampshade is conducted by a brass arm and its counter-weight. Its brass body is finished in black matte & gold plated, raising the design with a modern touch. Below you can see the lampshaded in close detail.
Duke also looks gorgeous in white, both with copper or nickel finishes!
A unique mid-century lighting design, we’d use it next to a great accent chair, or even a chaise longue, enabling the perfect reading moment!
Below you can see how it looks next to an Essential Home armchair and side table. The right combination to take your home decor to the next level.
