YAMAMAR design firm put together a stunning contemporary Eichler house in Palo Alto, California. The best thing about it? The incredible contemporary lighting designs put on display not only as important lighting pieces, but also as bold decor items.

According to the design studio itself, “this Palo Alto 1970’s Eichler house remodel falls squarely into the ‘minimal modern meets disco’ camp”. The gorgeous house we can now see was the result of the collaboration between architect, interior decorator and a supremely passionate owner, who had recently moved from Toronto with her husband and 4 small children.

The owner was willing to embrace bold ideas about color, texture and space. At heart, this project comes to show what can happen when an owner isn’t limited by practical considerations.

The balance of colors in the family room works perfectly. The soft tones create a cozier atmosphere and let’s not even talk about that stunning white floor lamp! Even surrounded by an all-white environment it manages to stand out and look incredible.

Another great lighting design worth mentioning is the one from the master bedroom’s table lamps. The golden finish manages to bring a dash of fabulousness and luxury to an already adorable scandinavian-inspired design. It’s obviously a great combination and we love it!
