Lighting designer José Roca came up with a unique design for a floor lamp that you probably have never seen before. In fact, he designed a whole line called Spider, to which Yanko Designed named Arachnophile Lighting. And that name couldn’t make more sense, even if it tried. And you’re about to understand why. As we can see very clearly, the spider-like floor lamp has the particularity of featuring very long arms – much like the animal – that end in flat discs with a double-sided, diffused glow. Thus, creating a warm light that is perfect to use in a more relaxed setting.
Another uncommon but very appealing thing about this spider floor lamp is that, according to Yanko Design, “despite their stark aesthetic, they’re playfully large… even cartoon-like!”
