THE INSTALLATIONS TO REMEMBER!
Salone del Mobile and the entire city of Milan were the stages of the design highlights and here are some of the top installations of this year!
Inspired by the Elements
Snarkitecture (design and architecture company) developed an installation with Caesarstone (quartz company) changing the perception of the kitchen islands for a modern home decor. This stunning installation was built with the inspiration from the natural elements (water, ice, and steam).
Mid Century Lamps
DelightFULL is a lighting company inspired by the mid-century style. In Milan Design Week you could saw some of the most iconic modern floor lamps inspired by people like Frank Sinatra, Neil Armstrong, and Amy Whinehouse.
The Luxury Lifestyle
During the Milan Design Week 2018, you had the opportunity to have entered in one of the most iconic and luxury mansions of all the time for a conference about the future of design and technology. The Crespi family palace is a reference to classical 19th-century Moorish revival style.
Get a Sporty approach
Vitra is a Swiss furniture company, and this year had shown us through a sporty view some furniture and prototypes in partnership with the Austrian designer Robert Stadler. Colorful pieces were definitely a characteristic.
Pop Up Restaurant
To give life to an unused train station, the architect and designer David Rockwell created a Pop-Up restaurant for the Milan Design Week. Besides the great sandwiches, in this restaurant, you could find a lot of neons and color.
