Looking for a place to stay in the city that never sleeps? This is the one. This spectacular hotel in Downtown New York is housed in a 937-foot-tall (286-metre) tower also known as 30 Park Place, completed by American architect Robert A M Stern in 2016.
The interior design project was meant to bring a sophisticated yet, personal touch to every bedroom interior decor. Dark wood was used to create a more closed and intimate look in the public spaces, while the soft tones were kept for private areas.
The ground floor of the hotel has located the lobby and a business centre, which are divided into a series of smaller spaces that include lounges and a coffee bar. These private spaces proportionate a spectacular view of the hotel and the lighting provided brings with a traditional yet modern touch. The modern floor lamps used throughout the decor bring an amending and warm space.
To soften the dark wood panel walls, the lighter upholstery and stone flooring were the chosen aspects of the studio. With a ballroom and meeting rooms on the floor above, the wood panelling continues to bring a different taste combined with the gold walls.
Soft hues, patterned carpets and textured fabrics are used to bring an optimal view of the furniture pieces that are meant to provide a warm, residential quality.
