Floor Lamps Essentials: Nir Meiri’s Soft Lights of Moon
Today in our weekly signature “Floor Lamps Essentials”, we are going to present you an incredible lighting collection of the amazing studio: Nir Meiri. If you remember, this is not the first time we write about this unique studio, since it has the ability to surprise us every time with their innovative lamps. “The moon collection” designed by Nir Meiri design studio, was inspired by the brightness and shadows of the moon.
Commissioned by Nilufar Gallery in Milan, these lighting designs come in different variations: ‘7moons’ ceiling lamp, ‘2moons’ floor lamp and ‘1moon’ table lamp.
Made with raw materials such as metal and basalt stone, Merir molded the everyday lamps into clean cut forms.
Inside the lamp shade, there are flat detachable LED bulbs that spread the light from the center to its edges which can be adjustable and altered upwards and downwards.
These varied positions can be created by simply opening and closing a small clip located at the back of the lampshade. Located at the back of the lamp shade, you can create varied positions by simply opening and closing a small clip.
