With light filled interiors, Ras-A Studio made this home complete with a new stairwell. The renovation of this mid-century modern home, located in the best part of the USA, was completed by Robert Sweet of Ras-A Studio as well.
While the building and the style are completely mid-century, you can spot a few touches of the gothic themes. Now known as House Under a Bridge, this incredible mid-century project is located in Shakespeare Bridge in the Los Feliz neighbourhood.
“We really wanted to view this architecture from the house, so we replaced a solid wall between the shifting roof planes with a clerestory window,” the architect said.
With clean and pretty lines, each space is filled with adequate furniture and lighting that completes each other in great ways. The client wanted a double height living room and a lofted dining area and they turned out incredible.
Located in a place where the mid-century is clear and palpable, the home design renovation just oozes charm, elegance and cosiness. The spaces are brought alive by the lightness of it.
Proof the contemporary living style can be completed with a nostalgic aura, the refreshment of the area has been a current trend around the area, which is always a plus! This incredible home is just a clear example of style.
