Star of the current Maison Et Objet, the 5^th version of Duke is the new mid-century modern achievement.

Time to time, DelightFULL brings us new creations and, for this year Maison Et Objet (September edition), they presented us with a new project, worked in secret. We’re talking about Duke 5, a mid-century modern floor lamp that promises to be one of this year’s best sellers.

For the next season, the first new fixture that DelightFULL brings to us is a modern floor lamp, giving one more input to floor lamp typology on the brand. The main roots of this mid-century modern lamp are balanced with the ones of the mark like the mid-century style, the functionality of the piece and the customization options for the customer.

The last member of the DelightFULL’s Duke family is composed of 5 arms that counterbalance with the body. Each one of them owns the typical Duke Shade. The shade on the standard version (as you can see on the picture) has a gold plated finish (that you can change to nickel, copper, aged themed, and many others).

This mid-century modern lamp‘s base is round and that allows the user (if you want) of a marble finish, to get an extra contemporary touch in it. The withe body is able to change for other lacquer colors that you prefer (for décor reasons, we advise the glossy ones).

In the standard version, this craftsmanship masterpiece, presents a height of 63.6 inches (162 cm) to a base diam of 13.7 (35 cm), in weight around 39.68 lbs (20 Kg). Great for any home decor ideas, it arrives at the customer with 9 bulbs, shinning any place that you need.

The inspiration for the fixture was the jazz musician Duke Ellington, evolving the ones that are lighted by it (Duke lamp) in a twisted 70’s ambiance with a modern note. Duke puts, once again, DelightFULL, our favorite mid-century modern lighting brand, at its best!
