The firm used a palette of muted and pastel colours for each of the 168 rooms. The L-shaped sofas in pale pink offer the room a relaxing aura and the side tables in marble or wood are just the relish touch it needs.
One of the creative aspects of Grzywinski + Pons is that they designed much of furniture around the hotel and the lighting itself. The aim of this was to create a boutique style hotel for nomadic workers or extended stays.
Rooms in the Leman Locke hotel were finished with wooden flooring and blue and white walls. Some areas are just simple. Functional kitchen decor units were used in this nomadic interior design.
The lighting includes amazing floor lamps made from contrasting wood and metal elements with the furnishing of a functional bedside wall lamps.
The reception and cafe area are separated by a lift lobby creating similar “light, warmth and texture” to link the two.
